Glacier National Park in Montana is an American national park. It is located on the border of Canada and the United States, in northwestern Montana. It is adjacent to Canada’s provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, and British Columbia. It covers more than 1,000,000 acres. It includes parts of two mountain ranges and more than 130 lakes. There are also hundreds of animal species. This vast, pristine ecosystem is the heart of the “Crown of the Continent Ecosystem”, a protected area that covers 16,000 miles. Native Americans first lived in the area that would become Glacier National Park. It was dominated in the eastern and western regions by the Blackfeet upon the arrival of European explorers. The federal government demanded that the Blackfeet give the mountainous areas of their treaty lands to them in 1895. It later became part of the park.
